1,300 years ago, Ayurvedic masters in India experimented with herbs that help regenerate skin. They developed a highly effective recipe: medicinal herbs such as saffron flowers, blue lotus, vetiver, red sandalwood, and 22 other rare ingredients were boiled in sesame oil and distilled to create an elixir. Practitioners loved it so much they believed the two Ayurvedic gods, Nasatya and Dasara, had brought the divine elixir to humankind.
The main ingredient in this potent elixir is saffron, which is said to have the ability to transform skin tone and complexion. Floral elements such as lotus pollen and neelkamal (blue lotus) impart important botanical benefits. Cooling and soothing ingredients such as lal chandan (red sandalwood), khus (vetiver), and bael fruit help protect your skin from environmental pollution. The essence of plants like Java fig, mahua, and licorice treats superficial problems like discoloration and age spots. The formulation is mentioned in ancient Ayurvedic texts like Ashtanga Hridayam and Bhaisajya Ratnavalli around 700 AD.

Apply a few drops to your palm and warm the oil by rubbing your palms together. Gently massage it onto your face and neck. You can leave it on overnight or remove your face after 2 hours. The elixir is produced using traditional methods by our partner in India and bottled in an inclusive workshop in Gütersloh. A wonderful team of women, led by Karin & Hedwig, lovingly oversees the bottling and packaging.
