From the Beginning
GloryBee was founded in 1975 with a vision to provide high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients that nourish people and the planet. As the company has grown and evolved over the last five decades, leadership has passed to the next generation. Alan Turanski, son of founders Dick and Pat Turanski, now leads the company. A beekeeper since he was ten years old, Alan is committed to ensuring Glorybee maintains its unique perspective on honey, bees, and natural ingredients. From hive to table, GloryBee is there - not just as a middleman, but as a gateway.

GloryBee scored 97% on our 2023 SQF audit. Our auditors were especially impressed with our knowledgeable staff, our super clean facilities, and our excellent documentation. Food safety is about assessing the risks and possibilities of what can go wrong, from the supplier through to the customer, and making sure the end product is safe.
100% of GloryBee employees receive food safety training in their first week on the job, as well as quarterly and annual refreshers.
